REALTORS® FOR KIDS PROGRAM
Mission Statement: The REALTORS® for Kids program is designed to provide the needy children of Central Oregon with appropriate clothing, shoes and vision care for the betterment of their young lives.
The REALTORS® for Kids program was developed by the Central Oregon Association of REALTORS® for the purpose of providing necessary clothing items to needy children in the area, as well as pay for limited eyecare for children falling into the needy category. The program is funded with $10 from the annual dues paid by each COAR member, and administered by the Chief Exective Officer.
The program is designed to have a local school counselor call the COAR office to place their request for a specific need for a child after checking the home and financial situation of that child, and his/her family. Vouchers or gift certificates are provided to the school for the child by COAR.
