The Code of Ethics (sometimes written as COE) class is required every 3 years by the National Association of Realtors®. The current cycle is through January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021.

Please not the first time license renewals are a completely different set of courses. Please see your required classes below.

If you are due to take your COE class, you may find online cources or in person classes that you may attend. Once you have participated in a class, keep your certificate for your files to submit to NAR when it is time. Where to submit your COE class certificate: NAR's Website

Law and Rule (sometimes written as LARRC) is a required course every license renewal and be submitted to the Oregon Real Estate Agency (OREA). The current cycle is January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2021.

27 hours of continued education is required every license renewal, including 3 hours of the Required Law & Rule Course (Lookup your license date HERE).

First-time renewals must take First Time Renewal "Advanced Practices Course" - These come in 27-30 hour packages (sometimes Law and Rule included for 30 hours).
